| A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to SARAH MORGAN for winning first place in the Southern Regional Mountain Dulcimer Competition in April at the Dulcimer Jamboree in Mountain View, Arkansas!!!! We also wish her well on her attempt at the National Championship in Winfield, KS on September 18, 2010!! We are so proud of her accomplishments!! |
Saturday, September 18, 2010 - KADC members will play for passing
visitors during the day at the Big South Fork Annual Storytelling
Festival at Bandy Creek. We will begin playing around 10 am and
play until around 3 pm We will also be teaching "How to Play the
Mountain Dulcimer" workshops throughout the day. At 5 pm we will
perform a one-hour concert in the big tent prior to the storytelling event.
Come for the day or come for the weekend and camp for free with the
club. Contact Rudy Ryan at ryanra@tds.net if you would like to camp.
